Founded in 2003, MasterTax was based on the idea of providing Unmatched personalized service at unbeatable prices.

After spending many years working together in a different tax preparation company,
our founders, Sue and Mike, made the decision to combine their 60 years of experience and establish a new company that would put their clients first.

As of the end of the 2023 tax season, Mike has made the decision to retire after 24 years of tax preparation service to his clients, friends, and family.  We would like to sincerely thank him for his 20 years of dedication to MasterTax and wish him the best; nothing but maitis and sunshine!

Beginning the 2024 tax season, Christopher Buchwald and Daniel Buchwald will be attempting to fill Mike's expertly polished shoes as new preparers.  Although the shoes Mike leaves behind may get scuffed along the way, we promise to do our absolute best to keep a tin of polish no more than a desk away. 

MasterTax is, currently, in its 22nd year and proudly serves thousands of satisficed clients annually.
