Our History

MasterTax was founded in 2003 with the goal of providing
unmatched personalized service at everyday prices.

In 2003, after spending many years working together in a different
tax preparationcompany, MasterTax founders Sue and Mike
decided to combine their years of experience and
venture out to start a new company that would put their clients first.

At of the end of the 2023 tax season after 20 years of working together, Mike made the
decision to retire from the MasterTax family.  Beginning the 2024 tax season,
Christopher Buchwald and Daniel Buchwald joined MasterTax as new preparers. 
Although the shoes Mike leaves behind are large and may get scuffed along the way,
we promise to do our absolute best to keep a tin of shoe
polish no more than a desk away. 

Thanks to all of our clients, MasterTax is currently in its 22nd year and proudly serves
thousands of satisficed clients each year.
